Abbay Technical
Services was established in 1985 By William N. Abbay to provide
Title 24 energy calculations. Anne M. McQueeney came on
board in 1990 and mentored with Bill for 11 years before buying the
business in 2001, upon Bill's retirement.
Experience
is the major key to doing energy compliance. How each component
varies to achieve compliance in the most cost effective way can only
be known by performing many energy calculations in many different climate

in the state.
Title
24, Part 6 of the California Building Code establishes building energy
efficiency standards for new construction, additions, alterations, and
repairs in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Since first
enacted back in 1978, the building energy efficiency standards along
with energy efficient appliances have helped Californians save more
than $56 billion in electricity and natural gas costs. The standards
are updated periodically to allow incorporation of new energy efficiency
technologies and methods.
We work with builders,
developers, contractors, architects, engineers, and homeowners and provide
all the Title 24 Energy documentation that is needed for permit submittal.

analysis we can recommend alternate compliance approaches based on your
particular project's design or energy systems, possibly saving thousands
